Herbal Green Peel Classic

Classic is the full renewal treatment of the three GREEN PEEL® methods and the only one that peels visibly. A certified esthetician massages a mixture of eight selected herbs into the skin by hand at the highest pressure of the three. That lifts the uppermost layers of the epidermis and shortens the skin's usual 28-day renewal cycle to five.

Days one and two bring redness rather than shedding, and your provider sends you home with a tinted balm that covers it. Visible peeling starts on day three for most people and is largely complete by day five. How much you peel varies widely between people, and a light peel is not a failed treatment. Schrammek Kosmetik is direct about this: even when visible shedding is minimal, the renewal underneath runs as intended.

The massage brings tingling and prickling that tracks with the pressure being used. Classic runs at the highest pressure of the three methods, and Schrammek Kosmetik calls it tolerable rather than relaxing, which is a fair description. There is no numbing cream and none is needed.

Water rinses the herbs back out of the skin before they have finished working, so the treated area stays unwashed for the rest of the treatment day. Pat dry, never rub. Once the flaking starts, leave it alone. The old skin is protecting the new skin underneath and releases on its own when the new skin is ready, and picking it early is how people end up with marks that outlast the peel.

It is the follow-up visit on day five, once the shedding has run its course, and it is when the peeling process gets closed out properly. It is part of the treatment rather than an add-on. The difference is chemistry rather than strength. Our acid peels get their result from acid; Classic gets a comparable depth from herbs and pressure. Yes. Schrammek Kosmetik lists Classic for scars and stretch marks, and for slackening skin on the abdomen, upper arms and thighs. That body application is one of the few non-device options for stretch marks on our menu. Classic works in the epidermis, so it will not lighten a tattoo or permanent makeup sitting in the layer beneath.

No, and nobody should tell you otherwise. Schrammek Kosmetik's claim is that Classic addresses certain forms of hyperpigmentation, and that hedge is deliberate.
