triLift 2.0 in Lubbock, TX

triLift 2.0 works one layer deeper than skin treatments, contracting the facial muscles that hold up the face, then firming the skin above them. Offered as two treatments: the standard muscle treatment, which needs no numbing and no recovery, and a separate RF microneedling treatment.

How long triLift 2.0 takes

The standard triLift 2.0 treatment runs about 30 minutes on the face. The RF microneedling treatment takes longer, because numbing cream needs roughly 30 minutes to take effect before your provider starts. Body sessions run longer again, depending on the area. Either way triLift is a series rather than a single visit: Lumenis recommends five weekly sessions for the face and six for the body, followed by maintenance at an interval your provider sets.

What kind of treatment triLift 2.0 is

A non-invasive, in-office treatment on the Lumenis triLift 2.0, offered two ways. The standard treatment pairs Dynamic Muscle Stimulation (DMSt), which contracts facial and body muscles with a controlled electrical current, with surface radiofrequency. The separate RF microneedling treatment uses the FibroBoost applicator, electrodes 0.15 mm across that open micro-channels in the skin, and is done under numbing cream. Nothing is injected and nothing is cut.

Where we treat with triLift 2.0

Face: the jawline and the cheek and jowl line first, since that is where lost muscle tone shows earliest, then the cheeks, nasal folds, and the brow and under-eye area. Body: the abdomen and glutes for muscle tone, and areas with cellulite dimpling. Face and body run as separate protocols rather than one combined session, and which areas we treat is settled with your provider before the first appointment.

What triLift 2.0 treats

For loss of definition along the jawline and cheeks, mild to moderate facial wrinkles, and skin that has started to slacken. On the body, for muscle tone on the abdomen and glutes and for cellulite dimpling. It is not a substitute for filler where the problem is lost volume, or for surgery where laxity is significant. Candidacy is confirmed at consultation.

Two different appointments: the muscle treatment, and the RF microneedling

Our triLift 2.0 Services

The muscle layer under your skin, and the two technologies that work on it.

What is triLift 2.0?

Most non-surgical facial treatments work on skin. They resurface it, tighten it, or fill what sits under it. triLift 2.0 starts a layer deeper, at the muscle.

Facial muscles lose tone the way muscles anywhere else do. As they weaken and lengthen, the structure they give the face goes with them, and the skin above follows. That is a large part of why a face can read as older even when the skin itself is in good condition.

triLift 2.0 is a Lumenis device that works on both layers, though not always in the same visit. Dynamic Muscle Stimulation, which Lumenis calls DMSt, sends a controlled electrical current through the skin to contract specific facial muscles at an intensity you cannot reach by voluntary movement. That is the standard triLift treatment. FibroBoost is the second one, booked separately: radiofrequency delivered through electrodes 0.15 mm across, which prompts the skin to rebuild collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.

We already run the Lumenis PiQo4 here. triLift is the same manufacturer, and it answers a question the PiQo4 cannot. Pigment and texture are skin problems. Slack and lost definition are structural ones.

What to expect from triLift 2.0

You will probably see something the same day you start. Contracting the muscles produces a visible lift right after a session, and that first result is temporary. It settles over the next few days. Treat it as a preview rather than the outcome.

The lasting change comes from the series. Lumenis recommends five weekly sessions for the face and six for the body, and improvement accumulates across them. The Lumenis clinical casebook documents before-and-after sets after one, two, three, four, five and six treatments, with follow-up imaging at three and five months after the final session.

What moves: jawline definition, the cheek and jowl line, nasal folds, and overall firmness. What does not: volume loss that needs filler, deep static lines etched into the skin, and laxity significant enough that only surgery addresses it. If that is what you are dealing with, we will tell you at your consultation rather than sell you a series that will not get you there.

Why clients book triLift 2.0 at our Lubbock med spa

MUSCLE-LAYER LIFT

Dynamic Muscle Stimulation contracts the facial muscles that give the face its structure, at an intensity voluntary movement cannot reach.

JAWLINE DEFINITION

Works directly on the cheek and jowl line, where slackening tends to show first.

COLLAGEN AND ELASTIN

FibroBoost radiofrequency prompts the skin to rebuild collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.

NOTHING INJECTED, NOTHING CUT

Nothing injected and nothing cut. The standard triLift 2.0 treatment needs no numbing and no recovery time.

FACE AND BODY

triLift 2.0 treats the abdomen, glutes and cellulite dimpling as well as the face.

Two different appointments: the muscle treatment, and the RF microneedling

Inside a triLift 2.0 appointment

triLift 2.0 is really two treatments, and you will not always have both. Which one you are booked for depends on what your provider is working on that visit.

The standard triLift treatment is the muscle work. You lie back, your provider cleans the skin and applies a conductive gel, and the DMSt applicator moves across the face in sections, contracting a group of muscles with each pass. Most people describe it as a tapping or fluttering, odd the first time and not painful. A radiofrequency stage follows and feels warm, like a smooth heated stone moving over the skin. It runs about 30 minutes on the face, needs no numbing, and leaves nothing to recover from. You can wear makeup the same day.

The triLift RF microneedling treatment is the skin work, and it is a separate appointment. It uses the FibroBoost applicator: electrodes 0.15 mm across, finer than a standard microneedling needle, that open tiny channels in the skin and deliver radiofrequency into them. Numbing cream goes on first and needs about half an hour to take effect, so plan for a longer visit. There is no bleeding, and afterward the skin looks flushed and feels warm for a few hours.

Body areas take longer than the face, scaled to the size of the area.

What recovery looks like, who it is not for, and how maintenance works

Before you book triLift 2.0

Recovery depends on which treatment you have. The standard triLift 2.0 treatment leaves nothing to plan around: you can go straight back to your day and wear makeup. After the RF microneedling treatment your skin will look flushed and feel warm for a few hours, and your provider will send you home with aftercare, including sunscreen and no retinoids or acids for a few days.

Two restrictions are absolute. Lumenis contraindicates triLift for anyone with a pacemaker, a defibrillator or any implanted electronic device, and for metal implants in the area being treated. Tell us about dental implants, plates and screws at your consultation.

Reported side effects are uncommon. Lumenis lists them as prolonged or significant pain, damage to natural skin texture such as a blister or burn, excessive redness, excessive swelling, bruising on fragile skin, excessive itching, change in pigmentation, scarring, and a transient breakout of acne or pimples.

Results are not permanent. Muscle tone responds to stimulation the way it does anywhere else on the body, which also means it declines again without it. Plan on maintenance after your series. Your provider sets the interval based on what your face is actually doing rather than a fixed schedule.

VIP members save 20% on the standard triLift treatment. The RF microneedling treatment is included at the standard 10% member discount.

FAQ

Your questions,  answered

We’ve answered some of the most common questions below to help make your experience simple, transparent, and stress-free.

Nowhere else in West Texas. The Spa by Sheena runs the only Lumenis triLift 2.0 in the region. Plan for the series rather than a single visit: five sessions a week apart on the face, six on the body. Each one runs about 30 minutes, with no numbing and no recovery time, so a session fits inside a trip into Lubbock.

Where else can I get triLift 2.0 near Lubbock?

triLift 2.0 is a Lumenis device that works on the muscle layer under the skin rather than only on the skin itself. We offer it as two treatments. The standard triLift treatment uses Dynamic Muscle Stimulation to contract the facial muscles that give the face its structure, with radiofrequency to firm the skin above them. A separate RF microneedling treatment works on the skin itself. triLift is used for jawline definition, the cheek and jowl line, mild to moderate wrinkles and overall firmness, and on the body for muscle tone and cellulite dimpling.

What is triLift 2.0 and what does it do?

No. triLift 2.0 uses electrical muscle stimulation and radiofrequency. There is no laser and no light involved, which is why it sits under advanced treatments here rather than with our lasers.

Is triLift 2.0 a laser?

Lumenis recommends five weekly sessions for the face and six for the body. Improvement builds across the series rather than arriving in one visit. After the series you will need maintenance sessions; your provider sets the interval at your follow-up.

How many triLift 2.0 sessions will I need?

No. The muscle stimulation feels like tapping or fluttering as the muscles contract, which is unfamiliar rather than painful, and the surface radiofrequency feels warm. The standard triLift 2.0 treatment needs no numbing at all. The separate RF microneedling treatment is done under numbing cream, applied about 30 minutes before your provider starts.

Does triLift 2.0 hurt?

It depends which treatment you have. After the standard triLift 2.0 treatment there is none: you can wear makeup and go straight back to work. After the RF microneedling treatment your skin will look flushed and feel warm for a few hours. There is no bleeding and no peeling with either one.

Is there any downtime after triLift 2.0?

No. They are two separate treatments booked as two separate appointments. The standard triLift 2.0 treatment is the muscle work: Dynamic Muscle Stimulation plus surface radiofrequency, with no numbing. The RF microneedling treatment works on the skin itself with the FibroBoost applicator and is done under numbing cream. Plenty of clients only ever have the standard treatment.

Is the RF microneedling part of every triLift 2.0 treatment?

You will usually see a lift the same day, and that first result is temporary. The lasting change accumulates over the series. Lumenis documents follow-up results at three and five months after a completed course. Because muscle tone declines without stimulation, results are maintained with periodic sessions rather than being permanent.

When will I see triLift 2.0 results and how long do they last?

Pricing is confirmed at your complimentary consultation, since it depends on which of the two triLift 2.0 treatments you need, whether you are treating the face or the body, and how many sessions your provider recommends. triLift is delivered as a series rather than a single visit. VIP members save 20% on the standard triLift treatment, and the RF microneedling treatment is included at the standard 10% member discount.

What does triLift 2.0 cost in Lubbock?

Anyone with a pacemaker, a defibrillator or any implanted electronic device, and anyone with metal implants in the area being treated, including dental implants, plates and screws. Tell your provider about any of these at consultation.

Who should not have triLift 2.0?

They do different jobs. Neurotoxin relaxes muscles to soften expression lines. Filler replaces lost volume. triLift 2.0 conditions the muscles that support the face and firms the skin over them. It does not replace either one, and many people use it alongside them.

How is triLift 2.0 different from Botox or filler?

Yes. triLift 2.0 added body treatment to the original face-only system. We treat the abdomen and glutes for muscle tone, and areas with cellulite dimpling. The body protocol is six sessions, one week apart.

Can triLift 2.0 treat the body?
