Herbal Green Peel Fresh Up
Herbal Green Peel Fresh Up is the lightest of the three methods. The skin is stimulated and refreshed rather than peeled: circulation picks up, pores open, and whatever is applied afterward absorbs better. Book it for tired, dull skin or the week of an event. The effect usually shows the same day.
One short visit, and nothing to recover from
A single appointment with no shedding phase and no follow-up visit. Schrammek Kosmetik notes Fresh Up often has an immediate revitalizing effect, so there is no reason to book it weeks ahead of an event. It is also commonly repeated as a series, and your provider sets that cadence for your skin.
The lightest herbal method. Stimulation, not exfoliation.
The gentlest of the three GREEN PEEL® methods. The same eight-herb mixture is worked into the skin at the lowest pressure, so the skin is stimulated and refreshed rather than peeled. No acid, no abrasive particles, no machine. Performed by our licensed estheticians under medical director Dr. Arledge, a plastic surgeon.
Face and neck
Face and neck. Fresh Up works at the surface of the epidermis, stimulating circulation and opening the pores so the products applied afterward absorb properly.
Tired, dull skin, early aging, rough surface build-up
Tired-looking skin, dull complexion, the first signs of skin aging, and excessive keratinization, meaning the rough surface build-up that makes skin look and feel flat. Fresh Up is the one to book before an event, and the one to start with if you have never had a peel.
Stimulation rather than exfoliation
How Fresh Up wakes up tired skin
Herbal Green Peel Fresh Up is the lightest of the three methods and the one most people should start with. Schrammek Kosmetik is direct that with this variant the skin is not peeled. It is stimulated and refreshed with the same natural herbs used in the other two.
Circulation is stimulated, the pores open, and the skin is then able to absorb the active ingredients of whatever care follows. The complexion reads rosier, more rested and fresher afterward, and the effect is often immediate rather than something you wait a week for.
It is the natural entry point to the method. If you want more than a refresh, Energy works the same herbs harder over a series, and Classic is the full renewal treatment.
From the massage to walking out refreshed
Nothing peels and nothing flakes. You walk out with skin that reads rosier and better rested, and Schrammek Kosmetik notes the revitalizing effect is often immediate. There is no recovery window and no second appointment.
Aftercare amounts to sunscreen and common sense. Wear broad-spectrum SPF daily and skip strong actives for a day or two. Because the pores are open and the skin is primed to absorb, whatever your provider applies at the end of the appointment does more work than usual, which is why it is worth asking what to use at home that evening.
Fresh Up is frequently repeated as a series rather than booked once. Your provider sets how often based on your skin. Schrammek Kosmetik publishes no fixed interval for this method, so we will not pretend there is one.

Why clients book Fresh Up before an event
SAFE BEFORE AN EVENT
Nothing peels and nothing flakes, so it can be booked the week of an event without gambling.
SHOWS THE SAME DAY
Schrammek Kosmetik notes the revitalizing effect is often immediate.
SMOOTHS SURFACE BUILD-UP
Aimed at excessive keratinization, the rough build-up that makes skin look flat and feel textured.
PRIMES THE SKIN
The massage drives circulation and opens the pores, so whatever is applied afterward absorbs better.
THE PLACE TO START
The gentlest of the three, and the sensible first Herbal Green Peel before committing to Energy or Classic.
Cleanse, herbal massage, finishing care
What your Herbal Green Peel Fresh Up visit looks like
Your provider cleanses the skin, then massages the herbal mixture in by hand at the lightest of the three pressures. No machine, no blade, no numbing cream. Your esthetician works without gloves, which is what handling a botanical mixture looks like.
You feel tingling and warmth rather than anything sharp. At Fresh Up's intensity this is the most comfortable of the three by a wide margin. The appointment finishes with care applied while the pores are still open and the skin is primed to take it in.
Every GREEN PEEL® here is performed by a licensed esthetician holding a current GREEN PEEL® certification, under our medical director, Dr. Arledge, a plastic surgeon. Meet the team on our about page.
Fresh Up vs Energy, Classic, and a facial
Where Fresh Up wins and where it does not
Fresh Up wins on timing. It is the only one of the three you can book the week of an event without gambling, because nothing peels and the effect shows the same day. It does not win on depth. It will not do what Classic does for sun damage, scars or stretch marks, and it is not built to work on wrinkles, blemishes and pigment across a series the way Energy is.
Against a facial, the difference is the herbs and the massage technique. A facial is a broader treatment with cleansing, extractions and mask work. Fresh Up is one specific method doing one specific thing to circulation and surface texture.
Against a glycolic AHA peel, the trade is acid for botanicals at a comparable level of downtime, which is very little in both cases. If acid has irritated your skin before, this is the version to try.
FAQ
Your questions, answered
We’ve answered some of the most common questions below to help make your experience simple, transparent, and stress-free.
Fresh Up is the lightest and quickest of the three GREEN PEEL® methods. The same eight-herb mixture is worked into the skin at the lowest of the three pressures, so the skin is stimulated and refreshed rather than peeled.
What is Herbal Green Peel Fresh Up?
Nothing peels and nothing flakes. You walk out with skin that reads rosier and better rested. There is no recovery window and no second appointment.
Will I peel after Fresh Up?
Close. The effect is usually immediate, so there is no advantage to booking weeks out. A few days ahead is fine, and the day before is not a risk the way a resurfacing treatment would be.
How close to an event can I book Fresh Up?
Schrammek Kosmetik lists Fresh Up for tired-looking skin, the first signs of skin aging, dull complexion, and excessive keratinization. That last one is the rough surface build-up that makes skin look flat and feel textured, and it is the most common reason people book this.
What does Fresh Up treat?
No. You feel tingling and warmth rather than anything sharp. At Fresh Up's intensity this is the most comfortable of the three by a wide margin, with no machine, no blade and no numbing cream.
Does Fresh Up hurt?
The difference is the herbs and the massage technique. A facial is a broader treatment with cleansing, extractions and mask work. Fresh Up is one specific method doing one specific thing to circulation and surface texture.
How is Fresh Up different from a facial?
The trade is acid for botanicals at a comparable level of downtime, which is very little in both cases. If acid has irritated your skin before, this is the version to try. Our acid options live on the chemical peels page.
How is Fresh Up different from a glycolic AHA peel?
Fresh Up is frequently repeated as a series rather than booked once, and your provider sets how often based on your skin. Schrammek Kosmetik publishes no fixed interval for this method, so we will not pretend there is one.
