What is the Glo2 Platinum Facial?

Glo2 Platinum is the deepest tier of our Glo2 line, and at $525 it is the only one with a medical-grade step. It combines the Glo2 facial with laser resurfacing, which is what sets it apart from every other tier. The Glo2 part gives you the hydration and glow; the laser reaches past what a facial can, working on texture, fine lines, and tone. Because there is an actual laser step, it also carries more precautions and more downtime than the rest of the menu.

What to expect from a Glo2 Platinum Facial

Plan for some downtime. Expect redness, and, depending on how the skin is treated, some light peeling or flaking over the days that follow as the resurfaced skin heals. The glow shows early and the skin-quality changes keep settling over a week or two.

Two aftercare rules matter most. Freshly resurfaced skin is vulnerable to the sun, so a daily broad-spectrum sunscreen, SPF 30 or higher, is not optional afterward, and skip retinoids and other actives for a day or two. Let any flaking shed on its own without picking.

The laser step also has rules on who can have it. It is generally not done over a fresh tan or sunburn, during pregnancy, on skin with an active infection or a cold-sore outbreak in the area, or while you are taking certain light-sensitizing medications, including recent isotretinoin. That is why Platinum starts with a candidacy check — and if the laser is not right for you that day, one of the lighter tiers usually is. We do not promise a specific result.
