Same day, carry on as normal. A standard Glo2 has no downtime — wear makeup, work out, and run your evening routine without waiting on anything. Skin may look a little flushed for the first hour or two; that settles on its own into a healthy glow, not a reaction you have to manage. There's nothing to peel, ice, or baby. The only same-day must is sun: put on a broad-spectrum SPF before you head outside, since freshly exfoliated skin takes UV harder than usual.

First 24 Hours

A Glo2 facial has zero downtime and nothing to avoid afterward. Drink an extra glass or two of water to build on the hydration, wear your daily SPF, and go right back to your normal routine — including your usual retinoids and acids.

Stack the glow

The glow is immediate, but the real payoff comes from rhythm. Booking Glo2 every four to six weeks keeps skin in a hydrated, freshly-exfoliated state instead of letting each result fade all the way out first. Many clients find tone and texture hold better after two or three visits on that schedule than after any single facial. Four to six weeks also lines up with your skin's natural cell turnover, so each treatment lands right about when your skin is ready for the next one.

Drink water, eat clean

Well-hydrated skin simply looks and feels better, so keep water within reach the day of your facial and the day after. There's no strict diet to follow. Easing off heavy alcohol and very salty food for the first 24 hours mainly helps you avoid the next-day puffiness and dehydration that can flatten a fresh result. This isn't the treatment failing without it — Glo2 works either way. It's a small, easy habit that keeps skin comfortable while the serums settle in. Pair it with your usual gentle moisturizer, morning and night.

Daily SPF (always)

Sunscreen is the one non-negotiable after Glo2. Fresh exfoliation leaves the newest skin cells sitting at the surface, and those are more vulnerable to UV, so unprotected sun undoes the brightening you just paid for. Clean pillowcase

Start the night after your facial on a fresh pillowcase. A clean pillowcase is a small thing that keeps that from working against a clean result, and it's an easy habit to keep up if you're prone to breakouts. Back to your routine right away

There is nothing to hold back after a Glo2 facial. Because it is a gentle, no-downtime treatment, you can return to your complete routine the same day — including retinoids and retinol, glycolic or lactic acid (AHAs), salicylic acid (BHA), and physical scrubs. Keep wearing your daily SPF as always.

Makeup is fine after 30 minutes

There's no hard makeup ban after Glo2. You can put it on as soon as about thirty minutes post-facial if you have somewhere to be, though giving the serums a few uninterrupted hours — or waiting until the next morning — lets them absorb fully first. Honestly, most clients look at the glow in the mirror and skip makeup the rest of the day. If you do apply it, start with clean brushes or a fresh sponge so you're not pressing old product into freshly treated skin. Take it off gently that night with a mild cleanser, no scrubbing.

No real downtime

A standard Glo2 is a true lunch-break facial: no peeling, no flaking, nothing to recover from. Head back to work, exercise that evening, and reach for makeup after about thirty minutes if you want it. The one exception is the Platinum tier, which adds laser resurfacing — that version does carry real downtime, including redness and possible light flaking for a few days, and it isn't right for every skin type. If Platinum is what you're after, we confirm you're a candidate first and send you home with its own separate aftercare.

Mild tenderness (1 to 3 days)

It's normal for skin to feel slightly tender, tight, or warm to the touch for a day or so after Glo2, more so if your skin runs sensitive. It calms down on its own, with no icing or special product needed. There are no activity restrictions — shower, sweat, and sleep as usual. If that tenderness turns into real pain, blistering, or redness that keeps building past 48 hours, that's not typical for a Glo2, and it's worth a call.

Healthy glow (immediate)

Most clients walk out with skin that looks brighter and more even and feels smoother and more hydrated — and it shows up right away, not days later. A soft pink flush across the cheeks is common for the first hour or two; it's just increased circulation from the exfoliation and massage, and it fades into a healthy, rested glow rather than lingering redness. Avoid direct, prolonged sun exposure for 48 hours. Daily SPF 30+ year-round to maintain the result.

Active Skincare

Hold retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, vitamin C, and exfoliators for 48 hours so the infused nutrients fully absorb. Resume your normal routine after that.
