The Teen Facial is a 60-minute treatment built for younger skin, roughly ages 12 to 18. What to expect from a Teen Facial

Every appointment starts with a double cleanse to clear makeup, sunscreen, and the day's oil. The esthetician then applies a light exfoliant to loosen dead cells at the surface, which makes the next step easier and gentler.

Extractions come next. Using clean technique and a comedone extractor, the esthetician clears blackheads and whiteheads by hand instead of sending the teen home to pick at them, which is where scarring and dark spots usually start. A calming mask follows to settle any redness, then a light moisturizer and sunscreen.

The last few minutes are teaching time. Most teens do well with a short, consistent routine: a gentle cleanser, daily SPF, and an over-the-counter salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide product on breakout-prone areas. The esthetician tailors the suggestions to the skin in front of her and keeps it simple enough to actually stick.

How the Teen Facial compares to adult facials

Younger skin tends to react more than mature skin. Strong acids, deep peels, or heavy-handed extractions can provoke more breakouts or leave dark marks (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) that linger for weeks. So the Teen Facial is deliberately lighter than an adult protocol. It borrows the same steps as our Customized Facial but dials back the intensity.
