YOUR RECOVERY, IN ORDER
What happens, and when
Here is the path from treatment day to final result.
8 to 12 Weeks
Strict SPF, full tightening
No direct sun for 8 to 12 weeks — pigmentation risk is highest in this window. Final tightening develops as new collagen forms underneath.
Weeks 1 to 2
Skin reveals
Pink, fresh skin underneath once scabs shed. Cool compresses, gentle cleansing, and no pressure or makeup until the area is fully closed.
First 5 to 7 Days
Scabs stay
Tiny carbon dots form and naturally shed over 5 to 7 days. Do not pick — premature removal causes hyperpigmentation and scarring.

FAQ
Your questions, answered
We’ve answered some of the most common questions below to help make your experience simple, transparent, and stress-free.
Plasma pen uses a small device to create a controlled electrical arc (plasma) that contacts the skin without touching it. The energy vaporizes a tiny dot of skin at the surface and tightens the deeper tissue underneath. Result: non-surgical lifting and resurfacing of eyelids, lip lines, neck, and small lesions.
What is plasma pen and what does it do?
Non-surgical eyelid lifts (upper and lower), crow's feet, forehead lines, lip lines, jowls, neck laxity, hooded eyelids, and small lesion removal (skin tags, sun damage spots). It's most popular as a non-surgical alternative to blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery).
What can plasma pen treat?
Plasma pen is non-surgical with no scalpel, no general anesthesia, and 10 days of visible recovery instead of weeks of surgical recovery. Results are excellent for mild-to-moderate laxity. Severe laxity (significant hooding, true excess skin) is better addressed surgically. For the right candidate, plasma offers significant improvement at a fraction of surgical cost.
How does plasma pen compare to surgery?
We apply strong topical numbing for 45 minutes before treatment. With numbing, most patients describe mild discomfort—warmth or tingling. The treatment is fast: 15–45 minutes depending on area. Without numbing, plasma pen would be significantly painful; with it, it's manageable.
Does plasma pen hurt?
Recovery is about 10 days. Day 1–3: visible swelling and pinpoint scabs across treated area. Day 4–7: scabs darken and flake off (do not pick). Day 8–10: pink skin underneath transitions to normal tone. Plan around social events—plasma pen creates visible downtime.
What's the recovery from plasma pen?
Plasma pen treatments are typically recommended once per quarter for optimal results. Major eyelid laxity may need additional sessions. We assess after each treatment and recommend follow-ups based on response.
How many plasma pen sessions will I need?
Results last 3+ years per treatment for most patients. The collagen tightening triggered by plasma is durable. Aging continues, so additional touch-up sessions every few years maintain results. Skincare and SPF use significantly impact longevity.
How long does plasma pen last?
Best candidates: mild-to-moderate laxity, lighter skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–III), good general health, and tolerance for visible downtime. Less ideal: darker skin tones (higher risk of hyperpigmentation), severe laxity (surgery better), keloid scarring history, or patients who can't accommodate 10 days of visible recovery.
Am I a candidate for plasma pen?
Plasma Pen treatment is $800. Membership pricing applies. Total investment significantly less than surgical equivalents for comparable results.
