YOUR RECOVERY, IN ORDER

What happens, and when

Here is the path from treatment day to final result.

Every 4 to 6 Weeks

Build the glow

Best results come from 3 to 6 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Texture, tone, pigment, and clarity improve cumulatively across the series.

Days 2 to 5

No actives, daily SPF

Pause retinoids, acids, and scrubs for 3 to 5 days. SPF 30 or higher every morning — your skin is photosensitive for at least a week.

First 24 Hours

Cool and clean

Mild redness and warmth like a sunburn. Cool compresses help. Cleanse with cool water — no exfoliators, scrubs, or hot showers.

FAQ

Your questions,  answered

We’ve answered some of the most common questions below to help make your experience simple, transparent, and stress-free.

PiQo4 is a picosecond laser—delivering ultra-fast pulses (a trillionth of a second) at four wavelengths. We use it for: tattoo removal across all ink colors, melasma treatment, sun damage and pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and general facial rejuvenation. It's one of the most versatile lasers available.

What is the PiQo4 laser and what does it treat?

Speed and gentleness. Older lasers used nanosecond pulses (one billionth of a second). PiQo4's picosecond pulses are 1000x faster, generating less heat per pulse. Result: more effective ink/pigment shattering, less thermal damage, less downtime, and ability to safely treat darker skin tones.

How is PiQo4 different from other lasers?

For ongoing skin health and sustained results, treatments are recommended on a regular cycle every 4 to 6 weeks. Most patients see meaningful improvement after 3–5 sessions for tone, texture, and pigmentation. Specific issues (deep melasma, significant sun damage) may need additional sessions.

How many PiQo4 facial sessions will I need?

Each pulse feels like a quick snap. The treatment is fast—a full face takes 15–20 minutes. We apply topical numbing for sensitive patients. Most describe it as more tolerable than expected, especially given the results. Sensitive areas (around lips, eyes) feel more than the cheeks.

Does PiQo4 hurt?

Recovery is about 1 day. Mild redness and slight swelling for 24 hours. Some patients develop a temporary darker tone where pigment was treated, fading over 5–10 days. Use SPF religiously, gentle cleanser, heavy moisturizer.

What's the recovery from PiQo4?

PiQo4 Laser Facial is $325 per session. Series of 3–5 sessions priced with package discount. Membership reduces per-session cost.

What does PiQo4 facial cost in Lubbock?

Yes—picosecond technology is significantly safer for darker skin than older laser systems. PiQo4 has been used safely across the Fitzpatrick scale. We adjust settings based on your specific skin type and never use settings inappropriate for your skin. Some skin tones may need a test patch before the first full session.

Is PiQo4 safe for darker skin tones?

Initial improvements (better tone, brighter skin) visible within 1–2 weeks of the first session. Significant pigmentation lifting visible after 2–3 sessions. Full collagen-driven texture improvement appears 3 months after a complete series as your body rebuilds.

When will I see PiQo4 results?

Sun damage and brown spots (highly responsive). Tattoo removal of all colors (highly responsive). Melasma (responsive with the right settings). Fine lines (moderately responsive). Active acne (not the right tool—use Carbon Cleanse). Deep scarring (RF microneedling is better).

What conditions respond best to PiQo4?

Book a complimentary laser consultation. We'll examine the concern you're treating, evaluate your skin type, and determine whether PiQo4 or another modality is the right fit. Wrong-device treatment is the most common cause of disappointing laser results. Call (806) 701-5840 or book online.
