POST CARE GUIDE
Lash Lift and Brow Lamination Aftercare

YOUR RECOVERY, IN ORDER
What happens, and when
Here is the path from treatment day to final result.
First 24 Hours
Dry and untouched
No water, steam, or product on lifted lashes or laminated brows. No rubbing, touching, or sleeping face-down for the first night.
Days 2 to 3
Resume routine
Water and gentle cleansers are fine after 24 hours. Skip oil-based products, lash curlers, and extensions on lifted lashes.
Every 6 to 8 Weeks
Maintain the lift
Lash lifts and brow lamination last 6 to 8 weeks as your natural growth cycles refresh. Nightly conditioning oil extends the result between visits.

How to Care for Your Lashes & Brows After Treatment
No lash curlers, no extensions
A lash lift gives you a natural curl — using a lash curler can crimp or break the lifted hairs. Lash extensions over a fresh lift weigh the hairs down and shorten the lift duration.
Nightly conditioning oil extends the lift
Once the first week passes, apply a nourishing lash and brow conditioning oil (castor oil or a professional lash serum) nightly. Keeps hairs healthy, prevents brittleness, and extends the result.
Mascara only after 48 hours (water-based)
No mascara for at least 24 to 48 hours. After that, use only water-based, non-waterproof mascara — waterproof formulas require oil-based removers that break the lift down.
Sleep on your back (first night)
Sleep on your back the first night to avoid friction that can flatten or unevenly set the lift. Silk pillowcases reduce friction on subsequent nights.
Cleanse gently (after 24 hours)
After the initial 24 hours, cleanse with a water-based, oil-free cleanser. Pat dry — never rub. Avoid micellar water and any cleansing oil for the first week.
Keep dry for 24 hours (mandatory)
Keep lashes and brows completely dry for the first 24 hours — no water, steam, sweat, tears, cleansers, oils, or skincare products on the treated areas. This is when the lift cures.
WHAT TO EXPECT
What's Normal: Lash Lift & Brow Lamination Downtime
Normal, temporary, and part of the process.
Lift looks dramatic initially
The lift can look very dramatic right after the treatment — that is the fresh curl setting. It naturally relaxes into a softer, more uniform lift over the first 48 hours.
Tint darker initially (24 to 48 hours)
If tinting was included, it may appear slightly darker immediately after treatment and softens within 24 to 48 hours as it sets and oxidizes.
Mild sensitivity (first 24 hours)
Skin around the treated area may feel pink and slightly tender for up to 24 hours. Soothing aloe or chamomile gel helps if needed.
FOR ONE WEEK
What to Avoid After a Lash Lift or Brow Lamination

Water & Steam (24 hours)
Avoid all water, steam, sweat, tears, and cleansing products on the treated lashes and brows for 24 hours. The lift solution needs this window to fully cure.

Oil-Based Products
Avoid oil-based makeup removers, cleansers, sunscreens, and skincare on the eye area for at least 48 hours. Oils break down the lift bonds.

Eye Makeup (24 to 48 hours)
No mascara, eyeliner, or eye makeup for 24 to 48 hours. After that, switch to water-based, non-waterproof mascara only.

Lash Curlers & Extensions
Do not use lash curlers on lifted lashes — they crimp and break the hairs. Lash extensions over a fresh lift weigh the hairs down and shorten the result.

Touching & Rubbing
Do not rub, touch, or pull at the treated lashes or brows. Even gentle pressure during the first 24 hours can unevenly set the lift.

Heat (24 hours)
Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot showers, and hot yoga for 24 hours. Heat and steam interfere with the curing process.

FAQ
Your questions, answered
We’ve answered some of the most common questions below to help make your experience simple, transparent, and stress-free.
Brow services: brow shaping, waxing, tinting (dye), lamination. Lash services: lash tinting, lash lift. We don't currently offer lash extensions—we focus on services that enhance your natural lashes and brows for low-maintenance daily wear.
What lash and brow services do you offer?
Brow lamination is a chemical treatment that softens and reshapes your brow hairs to lay in a uniform direction—a fuller, brushed-up look. Lasts 6–8 weeks. Microblading is permanent makeup, with pigment deposited via small blade strokes—lasts 1–3 years. Lamination is non-permanent and reversible; microblading is a commitment.
What's the difference between brow lamination and microblading?
Lash lift uses a curling solution to lift your natural lashes upward from the root—the same lift you'd get with a curler, but lasting 6–8 weeks. No daily maintenance, no extensions, no glue. Pair with lash tinting for darker definition. Extensions add length and volume with adhered synthetic lashes; lash lift just enhances what you have.
What is a lash lift and how is it different from extensions?
Lash lift, brow lamination, and tinting are typically maintained every 4 to 6 weeks. Lash tint: 4–6 weeks. Brow tint: 3–5 weeks. Brow wax: 3–4 weeks before regrowth. Most patients schedule on a regular monthly cadence to keep results consistent.
How long do brow and lash services last?
Brow waxing involves brief discomfort during the wax pull—lasts seconds. Tinting and lifting are painless—you'll lie back with eyes closed for the duration. We use professional products designed for the eye area.
Do brow and lash services hurt?
Lash and brow services run $20–$80. Exact pricing for each service (brow wax, lash tint, lash lift, brow lamination, etc.) is available at booking. Members receive discounted pricing.
How much do lash and brow services cost in Lubbock?
Immediately after brow waxing, yes. After tinting or lamination/lift: wait 24 hours so the color/curl sets fully. After 24 hours, normal makeup routine resumes.
Can I wear makeup after a lash or brow service?
Most providers (us included) avoid lash lifts during pregnancy out of caution—the chemicals used haven't been thoroughly studied for pregnancy safety. Brow waxing and tinting can continue if skin isn't reactive. We'll customize at booking.
Can I get a lash lift while pregnant?
Rarely—but possible. We do a patch test before first-time tinting if you've never had it. Patients with very sensitive skin or known allergies to PPD (in hair dye) shouldn't get tinting. Lash lift solutions are generally well-tolerated; we'll test and discuss if you have any sensitivities.
Are there any allergic reactions to lash/brow services?
Book online or call (806) 701-5840. Most lash/brow services are 30–45 minutes. Easy to add to another appointment if you're already coming in.
