We're a medical day spa offering five categories of treatments: injectables (Botox, fillers, Sculptra, Kybella), skincare treatments (facials, peels, microneedling, dermaplaning), laser treatments (hair removal, IPL, PiQo4, tattoo removal), advanced treatments (RF microneedling, PRP, plasma pen, sclerotherapy), and wellness services (GLP-1 weight management, hormone replacement, NAD+, B12). All under physician oversight.

Yes. We're a medical day spa operating under physician oversight, with Patricia Arledge, MD (board-certified plastic surgeon) as our Medical Director. All injectable, laser, and wellness treatments are performed by licensed clinical providers following medical protocols. We're regulated as a medical practice, not a beauty salon—a meaningful difference for safety and outcomes.

Sheena Klos founded The Spa in 2016 and serves as Spa Director and a Medical Aesthetician. Her vision: bring physician-overseen aesthetic and wellness care to Lubbock with the consistency of a major-city medical spa and the personal attention of a local business.

Our clinical team includes Aesthetic Injectors Rebecca Fant, MSN, FNP-C and Angela Hunsaker, RN; Medical Aestheticians Sheena Klos, Posey Pence, and Victoria Henry; Brayden Mitchell; and Client Experience Provider Beccie Williams. All work under the medical direction of Patricia Arledge, MD, our board-certified plastic surgeon Medical Director.

Yes. Our membership program gives you discounted per-service pricing across the menu, priority booking, and early access to new treatments and events. Membership tiers fit different commitment levels—we'll help you choose what fits your goals. Ask at your consultation or call for current pricing.

Most aesthetic and wellness services aren't covered by insurance—they're elective. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, HSA/FSA cards (for medically-indicated treatments), CareCredit financing, and Cherry payment plans. We'll go over payment options at your consultation so there are no surprises.

Three things. First, physician oversight: our Medical Director is a board-certified plastic surgeon, not a general practitioner. Second, our team's licensure: every clinical role is held by a licensed professional appropriate to the service—no shortcuts. Third, our approach: we'd rather under-treat and have you come back happy than over-treat and have you regret it. We've been operating in Lubbock since 2016.

We work with first-time patients constantly. Bring your concerns—nothing is too small or too "obvious." We'll explain what each treatment does, what it can and can't change, and what makes sense for your goals and budget. There's no pressure to commit, no upselling, and no judgment about what brought you in.

Yes, and we encourage it. Reference photos help us understand your aesthetic preferences. We'll be honest about what's realistic with your facial structure and what isn't. Photos of yourself from earlier years are also useful if your goal is to recapture a previous look.
