What to expect
Your Glo2 Facial delivered oxygenation, exfoliation, and hydration in one session. The skin you're seeing now is freshly clarified and ready to absorb the products you put on it — which is both the upside and the reason the first 48 hours need a little restraint.
Why this matters
Glo2 uses the body's natural Bohr Effect to push oxygenated blood to the skin's surface while infusing serums. That same surface receptivity means the skin will respond more intensely to whatever you put on it, including sun and active ingredients, for a couple of days. SPF and gentle skincare during this window let the results last.
Post care
- Allow the skin at least 30 minutes to settle before applying makeup. Waiting 24 hours is strongly preferred.
- Resume your normal skincare routine the following morning.
- Sleep on a fresh pillowcase the night after treatment to minimize bacteria contact.
- Apply SkinBetter Science Tone Smart SPF 75 when outdoors, reapplying every 2 hours in direct sun for 1 week following treatment.
Downtime
- Skin will appear pink to red for the first 24 hours, then settle into a sunkissed, glowing appearance.
- Mild tenderness to the touch may persist for 1–3 days.
Restrictions
- Avoid sweating, strenuous exercise, saunas, and swimming for 24 hours.
- Protect the skin from direct sun exposure for 48 hours.
- Avoid all active skincare ingredients including AHAs, BHAs, and retinols for 48 hours.

Follow up
For ongoing skin health and sustained results, treatments are recommended on a regular cycle every 4 to 6 weeks.
Glo2 is an oxygen-infusion facial using three patented Geneo technologies in sequence: OxyPods that gently exfoliate while producing CO2 bubbles, an active serum infusion driven into skin with oxygenation, and a final lymphatic massage. Result: immediate visible glow, deeper hydration, and improved tone in one session. No downtime.
What is the Glo2 Facial?
Express is the entry version—exfoliation and oxygen infusion. Lux adds a vitamin C and hyaluronic acid serum infusion for brightening and hydration. Platinum is the premium tier with longer treatment time and premium serums. RF adds radiofrequency for skin tightening in the same session. We'll match the variant to your goals.
What's the difference between Glo2 Express, Lux, Platinum, and RF?
Both are multi-step facials. HydraFacial uses water/vacuum suction for exfoliation and extraction. Glo2 uses CO2 oxygen bubbles for exfoliation and active serum infusion. Glo2 produces more visible immediate glow due to the oxygen effect. HydraFacial is better for extractions and congested skin. Both have their place—we offer Glo2 because we prefer the oxygenation results.
How is Glo2 different from a HydraFacial?
Every 4–6 weeks for maintenance. Patients prepping for an event often get one 5–7 days before for peak glow. The treatment can be done back-to-back monthly indefinitely—it's gentle enough for any skin type and condition.
How often should I get Glo2 facials?
Not at all. It's one of the most relaxing facials in our menu. The exfoliation feels like a tingle. The oxygen infusion feels like a cool, bubbly massage. No needles, no extractions (unless added separately), no downtime.
Does Glo2 hurt?
Express: 45 minutes. Lux: 60 minutes. Platinum: 75 minutes. Platinum RF: 90 minutes. Plan your schedule accordingly. You can return to work or daily activity immediately after.
How long is a Glo2 appointment?
Glo2 Facial variants range $150–$525. Express: $215. Lux: $315. Platinum: $525. RF: $150–$225 (Face or Neck only, or Face & Neck). Membership pricing reduces per-treatment cost. Series pricing available.
What does Glo2 cost in Lubbock?
Immediately. You'll walk out with visibly more glow, smoother texture, and brighter tone—results photograph well same-day. Continued improvement over the following 24–48 hours as the serums fully integrate. Best long-term results come from a series of monthly treatments.
When will I see Glo2 results?
Yes—Glo2 is one of the gentlest active facials we offer. Patients with rosacea, eczema, and reactive skin generally tolerate it well. We can customize serum selection to avoid known irritants. Tell us about sensitivities at booking.
Is Glo2 safe for sensitive skin?
Yes—Glo2 pairs well with dermaplaning (add it for extra exfoliation), LED light therapy (calming and anti-aging), and customized serum boosters. Some patients add a light chemical peel before their Glo2 for compound exfoliation. We'll recommend additions based on your goals.
Can I add other treatments to my Glo2 facial?
Almost everyone. Glo2 works on all skin types and is appropriate for teenagers through mature skin. Particularly good for: patients wanting an event-ready glow, brides, anyone with dull or tired skin, and patients who want active treatment without downtime.
Who's a candidate for Glo2?
Book online or call (806) 701-5840. First-time patients: ask for a brief skin assessment so we can recommend the right Glo2 variant. Most Glo2 appointments are available within a week.
